The award is given to Tatjana Stevanovi, as an expression of support and respect for her personal bravery when she was wounded during the mass shooting on May 3, 2023.

Part of the parents whose children were killed in the massacre on May 3 at the "Vladislav Ribnikar" Elementary School and the parents who support them, gathered in front of the school this morning.
They expressed their dissatisfaction with the fact that no decision has been made to turn part of the school into a Memorial Center.
Students and colleagues demand a national pension for wounded teacher from "Ribnikar"
A petition has been launched on the website peticije.online for the teacher wounded on May 3rd in the shooting at the "Vladislav Ribnikar" primary school in Belgrade to receive a national pension.
The petition was launched by colleagues of the wounded teacher, Tatjana Stevanovi, as well as current and former students.
The killer boy tried to escape? The Ministry of Internal Affairs issued a statement
He is placed in that institution after he committed a crime on May 3, 2023, at the "Vladislav Ribnikar" Elementary School in Belgrade.
"We emphasize that minor K.K. is under 24-hour police surveillance, which makes any possibility of escape completely impossible," the statement reads.

At the official press conference, several hours after the massacre, the Chief of the Belgrade Police presented the details of the pre-investigation procedure.
One of the first pieces of information from the judicial authorities was that no criminal charges could be brought against the perpetrator due to his young age.
