BELGRADE - Serbian First Deputy PM and FM Ivica Dacic will be on a one-day working visit to France on Tuesday at the invitation of Minister of European and Foreign Affairs Jean-Yves Le Drian.

The gathering will be held in Paris November 25-26, the government has announced.

The theme of this year's conference is "New economies: blue economy, green economy - new generators of wealth creation, social inclusion and sustainable development."

Ivica Dacic says Serbia is ready to begin the procedure for obtaining full-fledged membership in the International Organization of La Francophonie (OIF).

ANTANANARIVO - Serbia is ready to consider the possibility of, and the conditions for, becoming a full member of the International Organisation of La Francophonie (OIF), but opposes politicisation of the OIF, UNESCO and the UN system as regards Kosovo, FM Ivica Dacic said in Antananarivo.

BELGRADE - Serbian Deputy PM and FM Ivica Dacic will attend the November 22-26 Summit of the International Organisation of La Francophonie in Madagascar, also expected to be attended by Kosovo President Hasim Taci.

Serbian Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic said on Wednesday he had launched resolute diplomatic activities aimed at preventing further recognitions of Kosovo.

He is doing so "with a series of bilateral meetings in the Madagascan capital Antananarivo, where he is attending a summit of the International Organization of the Francophonie," Tanjug has reported.

BELGRADE - French Ambassador to Serbia Christine Moro organized late Tuesday a reception on the occasion of the Month of la Francophonie, where the most successful participants in competitions within the Day of Francophonie were given awards.
