Turkey condemns Boko Haram terror attack in Nigeria
Turkey on Dec. 26 condemned a deadly attack by the Boko Haram terror group in Nigeria that claimed over a dozen lives.
"We are deeply saddened to receive the news that many people lost their lives in a terrorist attack that took place in Baga region of Nigeria targeting the convoy of Borno Governor," Turkey's Foreign Ministry said in a statement.

Turkish security forces "neutralized" 11 PKK terrorists in northern Iraq, Turkey's National Defense Ministry said on Dec. 7.
The terrorists were "neutralized" in an air operation in the Zap and Haftanin regions, the ministry said on Twitter, also sharing footage of the action.
Turkey's anti-terror operations continue without any letup, it added.

Turkey completes 81-km wall along Iranian border
Turkey has completed an 81-kilometer (50-mile) security wall along its eastern border with Iran, the interior minister said on Dec. 4.
Süleyman Soylu shared the news on Twitter along with pictures of the wall, located in the eastern Ağrı province.

PKK terrorist surrenders to security forces
One more PKK/KCK terrorist surrendered to Turkish security forces, the country's Interior Ministry announced on Nov. 29.
According to a statement by the ministry, the terrorist turned himself in as a result of persuasive efforts by police forces.

Over 640 PKK terror suspects nabbed across Turkey
At least 641 PKK/KCK terror suspects have been nabbed during two-day operations across Turkey, the Interior Ministry announced on Nov. 28.
The suspects were detained in 42 provinces in operations conducted in coordination with the Chief Prosecutor's offices, the ministry said in a written statement.
