Vojvodina voting system changed
NOVI SAD - Members of the Vojvodina Assembly adopted on Friday a draft amendment to the voting system, and in future the members of the provincial parliament will be appointed according to the proportional representation system, which is already being employed in the appointment of members of the Serbian parliament and councilors in local self-governments.

BELGRADE - Tatjana Babic, director of the Anti-Corruption Agency, stated on Thursday that in 2013 the Agency was nearly 10 times more active in the sphere of control of property and incomes of public officials compared to the previous period, and announced that an initiative for the adoption of a new law on the Agency will be submitted by the end of June.
Serbian Public Information Commissioner Silenced
Representatives of independent regulatory bodies in Serbia walked out of the Serbian parliament on Wednesday after the Commissioner for Public Information, Rodoljub Sabic, was not allowed to speak.
The session had been due was to hear reports filed by independent regulatory bodies detailing their work in 2013.

MPs seek wider probe into Golden Dawn
Greek MPs on Wednesday voted overwhelmingly in favor of expanding a criminal investigation against neofascist Golden Dawn after the partys leader Nikos Michaloliakos made his first appearance in Parliament since he was jailed pending trial eight months ago, using the opportunity to curse the government and hail GDs strong showing in last months elections.

Macedonia Mulls New Elections for Vacant Seats
Macedonian leaders are contemplating holding new elections for seats vacated by the opposition in parliament.
Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski who is holding talks on forming a new government, on Tuesday said that after the opposition MPs resigned, parliament "has no choice but to verify those resignations at the next session and call fresh elections for the vacant seats".
