Treasury borrows $1.58 bln from domestic markets
The Turkish Treasury borrowed 9.3 billion Turkish liras ($1.58 billion) from domestic markets on Jan. 14.
Some 5.84 billion Turkish liras ($993.16 million) in 15-month zero-coupon Treasury bills -- first issue -- were sold in the first auction, the Treasury and Finance Ministry announced.
The Treasury bills will be settled on Jan. 15 and mature on April 14, 2021.

ATHEX: Bank stocks lead bourse rebound
The banks index at Athinon Avenue staged a 2.74 percent rebound on Thursday, leading the benchmark of the Greek bourse back up to 926 points on turnover of more than 100 million euros.
The Athens Exchange (ATHEX) general index ended at 926.06 points, adding 1.30 percent to Wednesday's 914.17 points. The large-cap FTSE 25 index expanded 1.22 percent to 2,308.07 points.
