Kosovo Serbs Back Appeal for Church Fund
Dragisa Murganic, secretary of the Red Cross in Kosovo, told BIRN that they backed an appeal for Serbs in Kosovo to donate part of their income to the Serbian Orthodox Church's Diocese of Raska and Prizren.
"It is a good proposal. Everything that's in the interest of the people of Kosovo is welcome. We need to express a lot more solidarity in these difficult times," Murganic said.

Novi Sad: Anniversary of fascist raid that killed thousands
The anniversary of the Novi Sad Raid - during which several thousand citizens were murdered, their bodies thrown under the Danube ice - was marked on Friday.
The massacres were committed by the occupying Hungarian fascist forces from January 4 until January 29, 1942, targeting the local Serb, Jewish, and Roma population.

Gate to desecrated church in Pristina sealed
Workers of the Kosovo Ministry of Spatial Planning on Thursday welded shut the main entrance to the Temple of Christ the Savior in Pristina.

75-yr-old Serb woman punished for protecting her property
A court in Gjilane, a town in Kosovo, has ruled against 75-year-old Persa Stojkovic for her "flagrant violation of public order and peace."
According to the executive decision, the Serb woman from the village of Paralovo must either pay a fine of EUR 50, or spend three days in prison.
