Oil rose further above $68 a barrel on Jan. 4 to the highest since May 2015, supported by unrest in Iran raising concern about risks to supplies, cold weather in the United States boosting demand and OPEC-led output cuts.

Icebreaker Christophe de Margerie, carrying liquefied gas from Russia, has landed tonight in the port of the British island of Grane, reports investor.bg, referring to TASS. These are the first quantities of liquefied Russian gas that is received by the UK.

Between 2024 and 2035, there will be a shortage of about 200 million tonnes a year on the Liquefied Natural Gas Market and a chance for Russia, Russian energy minister Alexander Novak said in an interview with Kommersant.
