Thessaloniki co-eds clothed with only a … scarf pose for camera
Co-eds at Thessaloniki’s Aristotle University went “clothing-optional” for a series of photographs shown at an exhibition that opened in the northern city this week.
Several photography clubs at the university contributed images for the exhibition, which will last until June 24.
One of the contributors, photographer Artemis Malta, described her concept as such:

One of the most respected and influential documentary photographers to date, Mary Ellen Mark, died on May 25 in New York. She was 75. For fifty years, she showed the rare gift of making all her assignments, the given ones and the self-generated projects, very personal and deep.

Turkish photographic pioneer honored at Istanbul Modern
The most comprehensive exhibition of photographer Şahin Kaygun, is on display at Istanbul Modern. The show features the original prints of Kaygun's works The Istanbul Modern Photography Gallery is presenting a retrospective on the oeuvre of Şahin Kaygun, the premier Turkish pioneer of an interdisciplinary approach to the photographic arts.
Greek boy's safari shot gets him nominated for Wildlife Photographer of the Year
"The Watchful Cheetah," an image of a female big cat resting in the grass at the Maasai Mara reserve in Kenya, has propelled young Greek shutterbug Leon Petrinos into the under-10 category of the prestigious international competition for best Wildlife Photographer of the Year, presented by London's Natural History Museum and BBC, and celebrating its 50th anniversary this year.
