For a couple of years now, the citizens of Barcelona have been protesting. Striking statements have been coming from the authorities in the city.

What do they want? They say they no longer want any tourists in Barcelona.

Despite these calls, tourists continue to come to Barcelona. The number of tourists has been increasing steadily since 2012. 

ISIS has claimed responsibility for the terrorist attack in Cambrils, Spain, in an official communique.
It had already claimed the prior attack in Barcelona but put out an official statement later encompassing both atrocities, which police in Spain had been treating as linked.

A chilling video shot by a twitter user shows five people laying on the streets of Barcelona minutes after a van mounted a pavement killing 2 people, with some reports speaking of a total of 5 dead, and injuring multiple in the tourist district of Rambla.
