Bulgaria: Manolova and Poisonous Trio Will Run for Election Together

Maya Manolova and Nikolay Hadzhigenov signed an agreement to run together for the parliamentary elections next year. Thus, the partnership obetween the Stand up.BG platform and Poisonous Trio becomes official. During the event, two of the three informal organizers of the anti-government protests were absent - PR expert Armand Babikyan and sculptor Velislav Minekov.

Meglena Kuneva, Bulgarian for Citizens Movement Party leader: I and the entire management of the party are resigning

The entire party management is resigning. I, as chair of the BCM - also'', the leader of Bulgaria for Citizens Movement party (BCM) Meglena Kuneva stated during a briefing after an executive sitting of the party, according to Focus News.

Meglena Kuneva explained that the resignation was needed in order to share the responsibility of the election loss of Reformist Bloc.

Agrarian Union Rejects Leadership's Attempt to Resign

Bulgarian Agrarian National Union (BANU) Chairman and former defence minister Nikolay Nenchev and the entire party leadership tendered their resignations on Sunday but the BANU Governing Council turned them down, BNR said.

 The party adopted a declaration calling on the democratic community to unite and slamming what they see as a "retaliatory policy" of the caretaker government.

Latest CEC data: 5 Political Parties Will Enter Parliament

The Central Electoral Commission announces that according to the results from the processed 89.73% of the protocols from the section election commissions, the new Bulgarian parliament will consist of 5 political forces.

GERB won 32.58% of the votes.

Coalition "BSP for Bulgaria" - 26.82%.

Coalition "United Patriots - NFSB, attack and VMRO" - 9,17%.

Reformist Bloc's Moskov: Right-Wing Has Not Learned Its Lessons

Our hope that the Reformist Bloc and Glas Naroden will be part of the next Parliament is real. We have reached a point where 100 votes could take out or hold our political union in Parliament, stated the spokesperson of the Bloc to BNR.

Obviously, we have not learned our lessons; the right-wing has to start again to formulate its aims in a different way:

Alpha Research: GERB Wins Vote, 6 Parties in Parliament

GERB has won the snap parliamentary elections with 5% of the votes ahead of the second largest political formation BSP.

The 44th Parliament will include six formations, while the coalition Reformist Bloc - Glas Naroden is on the verge of the 4% threshold, showed data of sociological agency Alpha Research based on exit poll surveys at voting sections.
