The new party, called Movement for Reforms - Democratic Party of Albanians, was registered on Sunday, soon after a Macedonian court decided not to give the leadership of the DPA to Sela, who had claimed that he was the rightful president of the opposition party.

Macedonia Appoints New Secret Police Chief
Andonovski was appointed the new head of Macedonia's intelligence agency, the UBK, on Tuesday at a government session.
He was the former head of the Skopje branch of the secret police. His resume says he has worked in the police since 1987.

New Ministers Fail to Quell Unrest in Macedonia
Macedonian MPs on Wednesday backed the appointment of a new Interior Minister, Mitko Cavkov, who was head of the Public Security Bureau, and a new Transportation Minister, Vlado Misajlovski, who headed the state roads enterprise.
The vote was held in the absence of the opposition MPs who have boycotted parliament since the April elections, which they say were conducted fraudulently.

Their resignations come at a time of heightened political tensions in Macedonia.
