Covid-19 toll at 155, infections rise to 2,760
The confirmation of 16 new cases of Covid-19 brought the total number of known coronavirus infections since the start of the crisis in Greece to 2,760 on Wednesday, the Health Ministry said in an announcement.
The death toll also climbed to 155 after three people died in the 24-hour period from Tuesday afternoon's regular update.

Romania's COVID-19 case count rises by 224 to 16,002
As many as 224 new cases of people infected with the novel coronavirus have been recorded in Romania since the last report, bringing the total count to 16,002, the Group of Strategic Communication (GCS), the official coronavirus communication task force, reported on Wednesday at noon. Of the people confirmed positive 7,961 have been declared cured and discharged.
89.3% of COVID-19 fatalities in Romania reported with at least one comorbidity
As many as 89.3% of people infected with the novel coronavirus in Romania who died had at least one comorbidity, according to a report by the National Centre for Surveillance and Control of Communicable Diseases with the National Institute of Public Health.

"We hope that the summer will be relatively calm, but it is certainly extremely likely that it will return in the fall, and some peaks of the epidemic may even be over the summer," Ivanusa said as a guest in the morning program of RTS.
He stated that it is now much more important than before to respect measures of protection against the spread of coronavirus infection.

Romania hits 1,002 deaths due to COVID-19
Another 11 people infected with the novel coronavirus have died, the number of the dead reaching 1,002, informs the Strategic Communication Group on Tuesday. The latest deceased are six women and five men between the ages of 59 and 87, from Suceava, Hunedoara, Brasov, Neamt, Ilfov, Bacau counties and from Bucharest.
