Earthquake of 4.8 on the Richter Scale Shook Antalya

This night at 2.02 am Antalya was shaken by an earthquake measuring 4.8 on the Richter scale. Underground shocks lasted for about a minute, TASS reported.

The epicenter was in the area of the town of Döşemealtı, and the depth was 47 km. The tremor was also felt in the surrounding cities.

There is no information about injured people and destruction.

Magnitude 5.0 earthquake strikes near Trikala, landslides reported

A 5.0-magnitude tremor struck 31 kilometers southwest of the city of Trikala in central Greece on Friday morning, causing landslides on rural roads, according to state-run news agency ANA-MPA. There were no immediate reports of injuries.

The earthquake hit shortly after 10 a.m. at a depth of 1.8 kilometers, according to a preliminary reading of the Athens Institute of Geodynamics.

Magnitude 4.9 earthquake strikes near Trikala

A 4.9-magnitude tremor struck 31 kilometers southwest of the city of Trikala in central Greece on Friday morning, according to a preliminary reading of the Athens Institute of Geodynamics.

The European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre gave a reading of 5.1 for the same tremor.

The earthquake hit shortly after 10 a.m. at a depth of 1.8 kilometers.

Earthquake with Force 4 on the Richter Scale Registered in Vrancea, Romania

An earthquake measuring 4 on the Richter scale was recorded today at 5:52 pm in the seismic zone of Vrancea in eastern Romania, said Adzerpres.

The quake was 122 kilometers deep, according to the National Institute of Geophysics, BTA reports.

In August this year, there were 15 earthquakes in Romania, two of which had a third-degree magnitude on the Richter scale.
