Three Spanish firemen return to Spain after trial

New trade war looms over Spanish olives

The U.S. flag still flutters next to others in front of the AgroSevilla factory, the world's biggest exporter of black olives based in southern Spain. But the cooperative in Andalusia may soon have to take down the Stars and Stripes if a rise of more than 20 percent in duties on black table olives recently imposed by the United States, its number one client, becomes permanent.

The Hellenic American Union (HAU) and the Cervantes Institute in Athens present a documentary by Javier Vila titled "The Flamenco School of the Cristina Heeren Foundation." The film looks at the history of the esteemed institution in Seville and the many lives that it helped change. The screening, which starts at 7 p.m., will be in Spanish with English subtitles. Admission is free.

Greek neighbourhood among world’s top for 2016
