In tropical Malaysia and Singapore, Winter Olympics medals are rarer than snowflakes -- but a dedicated group of athletes are hoping to change that as they make their countries’ debut Games appearances.

Oxford Dictionaries has deemed "youthquake" the 2017 word of the year, reflecting what it calls a "political awakening" among millennial voters.

It was first coined in the 1960s by Vogue editor Diana Vreeland, who used it to describe sudden changes in fashion, music and attitudes.

Irish low-cost airline Ryanair will include two new routes in its schedule from Athens to Dublin and Berlin next year.

According to Ryanair’s sales and marketing manager for Greece, John Alborante, the route to Dublin will start in March 2016 with three flights per week, whereas the route to Berlin will be covered with one daily flight.
