The Hellenic Development Bank on Monday started accepting applications from small and medium enterprises to fund their investment projects through its Development Law Financial Instrument Guarantee Fund (DeLFI GF).

Ljubljana – Loans in the total amount of EUR 30 million have been made available to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) as part of a loan guarantee scheme provided by the SID Banka export and development bank for projects intended for research, technological development and innovation.

€ 355 million will come from Europe for the development of start-ups, small and medium-sized companies in Bulgaria. The total attracted resource, which includes additional private investments, could reach a billion and a half euros, BT said.

According to preliminary data the foreign direct investments in the non-financial sector as of 31.12.2016 amounted to EUR  23 491 million, which is 1.4% more compared to 2015, according to data of the National Statistical Institute (NSI).
