Special Anti-Terrorist unit SAJ marks 40 years/PHOTOS
This took place at their base in Batajnica, near Belgrade, as the unit is marking the 40th anniversary of its establishment.
SAJ officers demonstrated a clash with terrorists who occupied a building and a bus. The exercise was attended by Deputy Prime Minister and Interior Minister Nebojsa Stefanovic, and other officials.

Serbian Gendarmerie commander replaced
Unofficially, Dragovic will continue his career in diplomacy. It remains unknown at this time who will replace him at the helm of the unit he had commanded since 2015.

Man shoots and kills officer, gets killed by police
The Interior Ministry (MUP) said this in a statement, identifying the officer as S.P, born in 1975, and his killer as D.Z., born in 1948.
The incident happened in the village of Bare, near Pozarevac, in eastern Serbia.
The policeman was shot several times and died of his wounds on the way to the hospital.

Montenegro to pay EUR 130K to brutally beaten protester
The Montenegrin government will pay EUR 130,000 in damages to Milorad Martinovic, who was beaten by the police during an opposition-organized protest.
Members of Montenegro's special police unit known as SAJ brutally attacked and beat Martinovic on October 24 in Podgorica, after breaking up the Democratic Front protest. Martinovic's car was also damaged by the police.

MUP's Gendarmerie, meanwhile, will remain a separate formation.
