Stevia Hellas Cooperative, a Greek company producing products based on extracts of stevia plant, is planning to invest a total of 8 million euros for the creation of a unit to process stevia leaves and produce the final products, company CEO Christos Stamatis told US Ambassador Geoffrey Pyatt during the latter's brief visit at the cooperative's headquarters in Lamia last week.

The Romanian Presidency of the Council of the European Union has finalized the process of adopting its first file in the area of economic and financial affairs, namely the Regulation as regards the minimum loss coverage for non-performing exposures (NPL), informs the Ministry of Public Finance (MFP).
The Government on 9th of January adopted amendments to the Ordinance on the Salaries of Civil Servants. The change is based on the "pay according to performance" principle: each civil servant will receive remuneration in line with the results achieved, reports BNT.
The salaries of civil servants will be increased by 10% since January this year.
