Prime Minister Ahmet Davuto?lu visited his party's headquarters in Istanbul for the occasion of Eid al-Fitr and delivered a speech, which moved party members. They then chanted slogans as such, "Ahmet Hodja, take us to the Ottoman times?"

Upon this, Prime Minister Davuto?lu replied, "Hopefully, we will bring the Ottoman order, the Ottoman justice to these days?" 

Piri Reis maps in Bodrum

An exhibition of famous Ottoman admiral and cartographer Piri Reis' maps has been opened in the western province of Mu?la's Bodrum district. The exhibiton at the Milta Bodrum Marina Ottoman Shipyard can be visited until July 23.

Free socks to be distributed to visitors of Selimiye Mosque

Guests of the iconic Selimiye Mosque in Turkey's northwestern province of Edirne will soon be given socks free of charge to wear while visiting the mosque.

Edirne Mufti Emrullah Üzüm said the free sock distribution was going to begin soon to avoid any problems regarding the cleanliness of the rugs inside the mosque.

Suleiman the Magnificent Bath In Burgas To Open for Visitors

The restoration of the Suleiman the Magnificent bath in Burgas is almost complete and will open for visitors next year, report the Bulgarian-language  media.

The XVI century building is in the Aquae Calidae archaeological complex in Burgas, near the mineral water springs. 

The bath has been restored to its original Oriental appearance.
