Mobile teams of the Ministry of Interior register Ukrainians at hotels in Sunny Beach Bulgaria
10 mobile teams of the Ministry of Interior began to register Ukrainian citizens for temporary protection. The first registrations started today in two of the hotels in Sunny Beach and Sveti Vlas, where most Ukrainians fleeing the war are accommodated, BGNES reported.
The Blue Flag Еco-Лabel was Аwarded to 15 Bulgarian Бeaches in 2020
The Blue Flag eco-label was awarded to 15 Bulgarian beaches in 2020, including Arkutino, Duni, Sozopol, Pomorie East, Nessebar South, Sveti Vlas, Golden Sands and Albena, the representation of Blue Flag international programme in Bulgaria has announced.
The Blue Flag programme encourages the maintenance of ecologically clean beaches and marinas.
Olympic Glory Alley Opened in Bulgaria
An Alley of Bulgaria's Olympic Glory was officially opened on Friday in the town of Sveti Vlas on the Black Sea coast of the country, the Bulgarian Olympic Committee (BOC) said.
The alley, which is located on one of the busiest streets, contains the bas-reliefs of the 48 Bulgarian athletes who have won 52 Olympic gold medals for Bulgaria, the BOC said in a press release.

Two Elderly Men Drowned near Lozenets Beach
Two elderly men were found on the beach in Lozenets and in the Bay of the Mechata dupka.
According to the mayor of Saint Vlas, Ivan Nikolov, they are probably the two fishermen who have been missing for the last three days after their boat was turned by the strong wind and the stormy sea near Cape Emine.

A Man Shot His Wife and Himself in a Shop in "Sveti Vlas"
The woman was a cashier at the store. The shooter is in critical condition.
The 54-year-old man shot a 46-year-old woman at a supermarket in a seaside resort of St. Vlas, then shot himself in the head, FOCUS News Agency reported, referring to information from the Municipal Police Directorate of Burgas.
Concession Procedures are Opened For Four Seaside Beaches
The government has opened procedures for granting concession for service on four Black sea beaches. This was reported by the government information service.
Concessionaires will be appointed after a competition organized by the Minister of Tourism and conducted by a commission appointed by the Prime Minister.
The duration of the concessions will be 15 years.
Fire at the Elenite Resort
A fire broke out in the forest of Elenite resort, BTA reported. The signal is given around 8pm last night. Dozens of decares of tree vegetation was burned.
There are firefighters on the site, but the fight with the fire was difficult because of the strong wind in the area, Saint Vlas Mayor Ivan Nikolov said. So far there is no evidence of injured and evacuated tourists.

Work on procurement of the operation of sea beaches for the upcoming summer season 2017 continues. Signed were new contracts for concession of four beaches - "Sveti Vlas - Nov plazh", "Obzor-Yug", "Kamping Oasis" and "Dyuni -Yug".
Man and Woman Detained For the Murder of the Taxi Driver in Varna
In just a few hours, criminologist from Varna Regional Directorate of the Ministry of Interior announced that they found the perpetrators of a serious criminal offence.
At about 00:25 Bulgarian time, the police was notified about a dead body of a taxi driver found in his car, parked in the region of Kamenar village.
Pre-trial proceedings were initiated on the case.
