Hitler Obituaries Shock Sofia Synagogue
The Sofia District Prosecutor's Office has taken a necessary step by self-reporting in response to disturbing reports from Bulgaria's Jewish organization "Shalom" and the Central Israeli Spiritual Council. The organizations alerted authorities to obituaries of Adolf Hitler discovered affixed to the entrance of the Sofia Synagogue.

Women renovate largest synagogue of ancient world
Village women take part in the renovation works of the largest synagogue of the ancient world, located in the ancient city of Sardis, the capital of the Lydian Kingdom, known as the place where money was first printed.
The ancient city of Sardis has been on the UNESCO World Heritage Tentative List since 2013.

Historical synagogue to become library
Restoration works at the Historical Esgher Synagogue in Istanbul's Beyoğlu district will be finished soon. The historical building will serve as the Beyoğlu Municipality Hasköy Youth Center and National Library.

Turkey’s Jews meet at historic Ankara synagogue after 40 years
After nearly four decades, Jews in Turkey came together at the Ankara Synagogue to "revive their memories."
Isaak Haleva, the chief rabbi of Turkey's Jews, as well as several members of the Jewish community, joined the event in the capital Ankara.
In a speech on the occasion, Haleva said the preservation of synagogues is important for his community in Turkey.

Foreign Ministry condemns vandalism of Larissa’s Holocaust Monument, synagogue
Greece's Foreign Ministry on Friday condemned the vandalism of the Holocaust Monument and the wall of the local Synagogue in the city of Larissa on Thursday, describing it as "heinous."
"This abhorrent act offends the memory of the victims of the Holocaust and is not in line with Greek culture and the values of Greek society," the ministry said in a statement.
Athens condemns anti-Semitic attack in Halle
Greece has condemned an anti-Semitic attack in which two people were killed in the eastern German city of Halle.
"Deeply shocked by the atrocious attack in the Halle synagogue, Germany. There is no place for antisemitism in Europe," the Foreign Ministry said in a tweet on Thursday.
