According to this, they use the money to fund their operations.

Air strikes against the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria
According to Allied command, US and allied aircrafts launched six air strikes against the Islamic State in Kobani,Syria.
In the last 24 hours allied aircrafts also launched eight raids against positions of the Islamic State in Iraq, according to the same sources.

At least three people, including a policeman, have been injured after an explosion near Turkey?s border with Syria on Feb. 13, Do?an News Agency reported.
The explosion occurred near a police checkpoint at the entrance of the Suruç district of the southeastern Turkish province of ?anl?urfa.
