PKK abducts soldier in southeastern Turkey
A Turkish soldier was taken by suspected members of the outlawed Kurdistan Workersâ Party (PKK) in the southeastern province of Diyarbakır on May 27, security sources have said.
A masked group set up a roadblock on the highway linking the districts of Lice and Hani in Diyarbakır, checking the identity cards of drivers.

Clashes between PKK members and security forces end after two days in southeastern Turkey
The clashes that had erupted between members of the outlawed Kurdistan Workersâ Party (PKK) and security forces in southeastern province of Diyarbakır have ended after a two day skirmish.
The attack began when the PKK blocked a main road in the region.

Court rejects Turkish appeal to extradite DHKP-C suspect
A Thessaloniki court on Thursday rejected an appeal by Turkish authorities for the extradition of Mehmet Yayla, an alleged member of the outlawed leftist Revolutionary Peoples Liberation Party/Front (DHKP-C) who was arrested in the northern port in January on an Interpol warrant.
BoG bomb claim points to return of Maziotis
Revolutionary Struggle, an urban guerrilla group that emerged over a decade ago, on Friday claimed its first attack in more than four years as a proclamation posted on the Indymedia website said that the organization planted the large car bomb that exploded outside the Bank of Greece on April 10.

Interior Minister Confirms Hezbollah Responsible For Burgas Bombing
Bulgaria's Interior Minister Tsvetlin Yovchev confirmed that the Hezbollah terrorist organisation is responsible for the bus bombing at the Burgas' Sarafovo Airport.
