The Greek National Theater (n-t.gr) presents Henrik Ibsen's controversial "Ghosts," a drama that shatters the edifice of the sacrosanct family, at the main stage of the Ziller Building. Directed by Stamatis Fasoulis, the production features English surtitles on January 19, 21, 25 and 28, and on February 1.

Peter Brook: Mystical giant who changed theater forever
Peter Brook, who has died aged 97, was among the most influential theater directors of the 20th century, reinventing the art by paring it back to drama's most basic and powerful elements.
An almost mystical figure often mentioned in the same breath as Konstantin Stanislavsky, the Russian who revolutionized acting, Brook continued to work and challenge audiences well into his 90s.
‘Don Giovanni’ at AKM
Within the scope of the Beyoğlu Cultural Road Festival, the Istanbul State Opera and Ballet (IDOB) will present Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's 'Don Giovanni' opera at the Atatürk Cultural Center (AKM) Theater Stage. One of the masterpieces of opera literature, the performance will be on stage on June 8 at 8 pm.

‘Cabaret,’ ‘Life of Pi’ win big at Olivier Awards

Prop gun fired by Alec Baldwin kills woman on set: Police
U.S. actor Alec Baldwin fired a prop gun that killed a cinematographer and wounded the director on a film set in New Mexico, US law enforcement officers said on Oct. 21.
