National Parliament of Azerbaijan Republic approved Trans Anatolian Natural Gas Pipeline (TANAP) Project on Sept. 30.
Azerbaijani Parliament discussed issues including the cooperation between Azerbaijan and Turkey during the first meeting of the autumn.

SOCAR Turkey names new chief
SOCAR Turkey has named a new CEO in a written statement on April 25.
The deputy head of SOCAR's investments department, Zaur Gahramanov, has been appointed SOCAR's Turkey CEO, replacing Kenan Yavuz, who has resigned.
Yavuz will continue to remain as a board member in the group companies, according to the statement.

World Bank, European Investment Bank set to invest in TANAP: Sources
The World Bank and the European Investment Bank are set to invest $1 billion and 1 billion euros, respectively, in the Trans-Anatolian Natural Gas Pipeline Project (TANAP) project, according to sources close to the matter.
The TANAP project envisages gas transportation from Azerbaijan's Shah Deniz II field through Turkey and up to the country's border with Europe.

The European Commission has decided that the agreement between Greece and the Trans Adriatic Pipeline (TAP) joint venture to build a pipeline that will bring Caspian gas to Europe is in line with EU rules for state aid.
Tekfen wins contract worth $457 mln from TANAP project
Tekfen Construction has won a supply and construction contract worth $457 million from the Trans-Anatolian Natural Gas Pipeline Project (TANAP) project, it said in a written statement on Feb. 17.
The company will complete the project in 39 months.
A total 11 companies won the right to bid in the tender, which was opened on June 26, 2015, according to a statement from TANAP.
EU, Turkey to Discuss Energy Partnership
The integration of the Turkish energy market with the European Union will be in the focus of the first EU-Turkey High-Level Energy Dialogue on Thursday and Friday, the European Commission has announced.
EU Energy Commissioner Miguel Arias Canete would travel to Istanbul to enhance the EU's strategic energy partnership with Turkey, the EU executive body said in a statement.

TANAP names joint venture for pipe's onshore section construction
The Trans-Anatolian Pipeline (TANAP) project consortium has defined a joint venture composed of India's Punj Lloyd and Turkey's Limak Holding to build a 459-kilometer section of the pipeline from Turkey's Eski?ehir province to the border with Greece.
Turkey, EU intensify political, economic dialogue

Turkish company to invest in special pipe production for oil, gas pipelines
Turkey's leading steel making company, Tosyal? Holding, has said it will invest in the production of a special type of pipe to be used in oil and gas pipelines in a press release on Dec. 17.
"We will start our facility investment with the planned annual production of 500,000 tons in 2016 and our plan is to complete the construction in the following year," said the company.
