Turkey's cheese diversity more than known: Expert
Most studies place the types of cheese produced in Turkey at around 200, but given that the concept of milk processing originated in this region, the number is probably somewhere near 300, according to an expert on the much-loved dairy product.

EU Wants to Ban Australia from Using "Bulgarian Rose Oil" Signature Name
The European Union (EU) wants Australian companies to stop using names such as "Bulgarian rose oil", "feta" and "gorgonzola" on their product labels. In case the goods manufactured in the country are indicated by some of the protected European names, the companies will have to change them.

Italian cheese from Black Sea's Kandıra
In the Black Sea coastal town of Kandıra, only a couple of hours drive from Istanbul, there is the first modern water buffalo (bufala) farm in Turkey where famous Italian cheese such as mozzarella, burrata, ricotta and mascarpone are produced. I had the opportunity to visit this farm with a group of colleagues.
