Serbia Takes Over Case Against Bosnian Serb Military Policeman

The War Crimes Section of the Higher Court in Belgrade has granted a request by the Bosnian Justice Ministry to recognise a verdict from the Bosnian state court convicting former military policeman Dragomir Kezunovic of committing crimes against humanity during the Bosnian war.

Serbian Court Quashes Bosniak Military Prison Chief’s Conviction

The Appeals Court in Belgrade has quashed the verdict convicting Husein Mujanovic, the commander of a military prison in Hrasnica near Sarajevo during the Bosnian war, of the abuse of Bosnian Serb inmates in 1992, and ordered a retrial.

Mujanovic had been sentenced to ten years in prison in July 2020.

Belgrade Court Increases Bosnian Serb Soldier’s War Crime Sentence

Belgrade Appeals Court has increased the sentence handed down to former Bosnian Serb soldier Milan Dragisic from four to five years in prison for one killing and two attempted killings of civilians in the town of Bosanski Petrovac in north-western Bosnia and Herzegovina on September 20, 1992.
