Additional Biosecurity measures in Shumen against African Swine Fever
Additional measures to ensure the prevention of the spread of African Swine Fever are being taken in Shumen region after the first case of the disease was confirmed in Varbitsa municipality in the area, BNR reports on August 9, reports BNT.
Prevala Pass Re-opened to Traffic
District governor of Smolyan, Nedyalko Slavov, cancelled the partial state of emergency for the Prevala pass (South Bulgaria), the district press office said on 30th of January. Traffic through the pass has been restored, but snow chains are obligatory required. The district crisis management unit monitors the condition of the dams and rivers in the area.

Dangerous Pollution of Water in Village Near Haskovo
There is a new ban of using water from the wells in a village near Haskovo - Varbitsa, because of existence of natural uranium again, reported Nova Tv.
The recorded levels are small but still the Region Health Inspection has warned to be used only bottled water.
The water in Haskovo remains polluted and forbidden for drinking.
