Police investigating an armed attack on a taverna in coastal Vari on Sunday that left two men dead and a woman injured believe that the incident was most likely a settling of accounts between members of underground criminal groups.
Police called as seniors come to blows in Voula
Officers were called in to intervene after a scuffle between two elderly women in the southern suburb of Alimos on Friday left one injured.
Police who arrived at the scene were told an 81-year-old woman beat up a 95-year-old, causing her light injuries to her head and body.

AGC Equity Partners, the owners of the Astir luxury hotel complex in Vouliagmeni, southern Athens, is close to getting a 51-million-dollar investment project for the construction of 95 luxury residences on Mykonos approved.
Contract killer’s accomplice arrested in Bulgaria
Police authorities in Bulgaria said Tuesday that they had arrested the brother of the 31-year-old Bulgarian charged with murdering 46-year-old Greek-Australian businessman Yiannis Makris in the southern Athenian suburb of Voula in October last year.
According to reports, the 35-year-old was arrested on Friday in the town of Haskovo, southern Bulgaria on a European arrest warrant.

Composed of Carmine Conte and Matteo Milleri, Tale of Us was listed among the top 100 alternative DJs by DJ Mag last year. Police breaks Attica robbery ring
Three Greek nationals aged 46, 36 and 40 appeared before an investigative magistrate on Monday in connection to more than 15 robberies and thefts in the region of Attica.
According to the authorities, the three men had set up a criminal gang since December 2018.
