Sales of monthly vignettes for heavy goods vehicles have been restored on July 30. So, until the introduction of the toll system, lorries will use the republican road network through vignette charges, reports BNT.

The sale of monthly electronic vignettes for vehicles with a total Maximum authorised mass (MAM) of over 3.5 tonnes has been restored.

Between 17.00 and 23.00 on July 29, 2019, activities are planned to implement updates of the electronic toll collection system based on time and distance traveled.
Particular delays and interruptions may arise that could hinder sales of electronic vignettes, warned the Road Infrastructure Agency.

The first tests of the future toll system for trucks and buses started. The demonstration will take place at Lesnovo Airport.
Toll charges will take effect from 16 August and will only apply to vehicles weighing over 3 tonnes and a half. Cars will continue to run with electronic vignettes.
