13 people have lost their lives in less than 48 hours in four separate cases of family violence that took place in different parts of Serbia.

In Lozovik, a man used a rifle to murder his wife in a football field, and then committed suicide.

Nine people lost their lives after violent shootout between two gangs outside a Twin Peaks restaurant in Waco Texas. More than 18 people were wounded from the fight which began inside the restaurant and continued outside with deadly results.

A group of young men who dared to shave their beards was arrested and jailed for three months by ISIS jihadists. According to a series of new laws in ISIS-held Iraqi territories revealed by a blogger, the jihadists forbid men to shave. The even stricter fact is that if said men repeat their offense, they will be beheaded!

Students at Columbia University published an editorial complaining about Greek myths being studied in one of their classes. They said that the texts “can be difficult to read and discuss as a survivor, a person of color or a student from a low-income background.” They stated that the texts trigger toxicity. Specifically, the students wrote:

Three men in Crete have been handed life sentences for killing a driver in a road rage incident on the island.

The 51-year-old victim was beaten to death with wooden crooks after asking the men to move their vehicle, which was blocking the road in the village of Antiskari, near Iraklio.

The Bulgarian Prosecutor's Office charged on Friday the Russian citizen German Kostin with the murder of the five-year-old Nikita Leontyev, whose body was found in a suitcase near the village of Pasarel in March.

According to the prosecution, the death of the child was caused through suffocation between February 8 and 10, the website of the prosecutor's office informs.

Project launched to economically empower victims of violence
