PIK: SNS wins over half of seats in Vojvodina Assembly
NOVI SAD - The Provincial Electoral Commission (PIK) Wednesday announced the final results from the election for the Assembly of the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina, where the 'Aleksandar Vucic - Serbia wins' list won 44.48 percent of the vote, or 63 of the assembly's 120 seats.
PIK: 51 pct of ballots processed, SNS wins 54 pct of vote
NOVI SAD - The Provincial Election Commission (PIK) announced late on Monday the preliminary results of the elections for the Assembly of the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina based on 59.61 percent of polling stations processed, comprising 51.65 percent of the electorate in Vojvodina, which show that the Serbian Progressive Party (SNS) won 54.17 percent of the vote.
Preliminary results show Democrats losing in Vojvodina
The Democratic Party (DS) has won 8.6 percent of votes in Sunday's elections for the provincial assembly of Vojvodina.
Serbia Holds Early General Elections
Early parliamentary elections along with elections for the assembly of the autonomous province of Vojvodina and for most local assemblies are taking place in Serbia on Sunday.
Polling stations opened at 7 o'clock (CET) and the voting will last until 20 o'clock (CET).
A total of 3270 candidates on twenty electoral lists are competing to win one of the 250 parliamentary seats.

National Assembly president schedules local elections
Elections to be held simultaneously at all levels
Provincial and local elections will be held simultaneously with early parliamentary elections.
This was announced on Friday in Novi Sad by Vojvodina Provincial Assembly Speaker Istvan Pasztor and Serbian National Assembly Speaker Maja Gojkovic.

BELGRADE - Chairman of the Executive Council of Vojvodina Bojan Pajtic said Monday that the provincial and local elections cannot be held before the spring of 2016, when, due to the situation in the country, a snap parliamentary election should also take place.

The motion had been tabled by Vojvodina Prime Minister Bojan Pajtić, president of the Democratic Party (DS), which leads the ruling coalition.

NOVI SAD - The members of the Assembly of Vojvodina adopted with a majority of votes on Monday a motion to reshuffle the government of Serbia's northern province.
The motion had been tabled by Vojvodina Prime Minister Bojan Pajtic, the president of the Democratic Party (DS), which leads the governing coalition.
