Croatia and Serbia agreed that former Croatian detainees can hold a commemoration at a wartime prison camp in Stajicevo, but ex-prisoners claimed Belgrade is blocking prosecutions of those who committed crimes there.

BELGRADE - The remains of 14 victims of Serb nationality, killed during the armed conflicts in the territory of the former Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia (SFRY) in Croatia, were identified at the Institute of Forensic Medicine and Criminology of the School of Medicine in Zagreb, in the presence of family members.

EP: Most Croatian amendments rejected

BRUSSELS -- The demands of Croat MEPs to add a series of requirements related to the country's unresolved issues with Serbia to an EP resolution have mostly been rejected.

Most of these amendments either failed to pass "procedural filters" or have been watered down, Tanjug reported, after seeing the text of the harmonized amendments.

Former Croatian Serb leader Goran Hadzic, who is on trial for war crimes at the UN-backed court in The Hague, has asked for temporary release for cancer treatment in Serbia.
