China's ZTE halts share trading following US export ban
Chinese telecom giant ZTE halted trading of its shares in Hong Kong and Shenzhen on April 17 following the announcement of a U.S. ban on its purchase of sensitive technology that drew a pledge from China to "safeguard" its companies if necessary.

According to CNN, the heads of the three agencies have expressed their views during the hearings before the Senate Special Intelligence Committee and the House of Representatives of the US Congress.

Forthnet teams up with Chinese firms to fund Greek telecoms network
Greek telecoms company Forthnet and Chinese telecom equipment maker ZTE Corp have teamed up with two other Chinese firms to finance a fibre optic network in Greece, Forthnet said on Saturday.
Forthnet and ZTE signed a cooperation agreement in 2016 to build a high-speed broadband network in the country.

Chinese telecom and mobile equipment group ZTE Corp. has agreed to buy 48.04 percent of Turkish systems integration provider Netaş Telekomunikasyon A.Ş. (NETAŞ) for 358 million Turkish Liras ($101.3 million) in order to expand in Turkey and the region, Netaş announced Dec. 6.
Forthnet issues convertible bond
Listed Greek telecommunications company Forthnet on Tuesday delivered a presentation for the Greek Association of Institutional Investors on its outlook, figures and growth prospects ahead of the issue of its convertible bond, amounting to 99.1 million euros and tradable on the stock market from Thursday until October 3.
Existing shareholders have preferential rights.

Forthnet signs MoU with China's CITVC
Forthnet announced on Thursday that it has signed a memorandum of understanding with China International Television Corporation (CITVC) with the aim of cooperation between the two parties.
CITVC's Great Wall TV is the only legally authorized Chinese TV package for overseas broadcasts and includes 33 general and specialized live TV channels.
