Serial production of Baykar’s drone set to begin in 2024
Türkiye's first indigenous unmanned fighter aircraft Bayraktar Kızılelma, developed by Baykar Technologies, is progressing towards serial production, with plans to commence in 2024.
Aselsan inks deal with Baykar
Aselsan, Türkiye's largest defense company, has signed an agreement with Baykar, the maker of Bayraktar drones, for electro-optical systems.
"An order has been received from Baykar Makina for electro-optical system deliveries with a total amount of $17.55 million," Aselsan announced in a filing with Borsa Istanbul.

Baykar, Azerbaijan sign goodwill protocol
Turkish defense company Baykar Technology and Azerbaijan's Defense Ministry have signed a goodwill protocol for the joint production of unmanned aerial vehicle systems.
Baykar General Manager Haluk Bayraktar and Azerbaijan Deputy Defense Minister Agil Gurbanov on April 27 attended the ceremony and signed the protocol for the production of unmanned aerial vehicle systems.

New drama over the Black Sea: Su-27 crashed on Bayraktar VIDEO
The video was released five days after two Su-27s shot down a US Air Force MQ-9 Reaper in the waters of the Black Sea.
Turkish media claim that this incident also happened over the waters of the Black Sea.
SavunmaSanaiiST.com published a video claiming that the drone was Ukrainian, and that it was "believed to be a Su-27 fighter" that tried to shoot it down.

Turkish drones perform country’s first formation flight
