Tourism boom expected in Turkey’s southeast this season

With the pandemic weakening, tourism professionals in Turkey's southeastern region are hopeful of witnessing a tourism boom this year, expecting an influx of both local and international tourists.

According to a feature story in daily Milliyet on April 21, the occupancy rate in region's hotels is around 90 percent as of April.

This family is made up of father Soner, mother İnci, and 12-year-old Tibet Çınar. When the wandering couple was cycling around the world, their son joined the team in 2011 when he was only 22 months.

Fifty-four workers for a package delivery company in the northwestern province of Kocaeli have been hospitalized after suspected poisoning, following a chemical leak from a package. 

Workers at a package delivery company in Kocaeli's Ba?iskele district experienced difficulty in breathing after a package containing sodium benzoate burst open in the factory.
