118-year-old school to be restored
A 118-year-old secondary school in the southern province of Antalya, which was once used as a military hospital in the Turkish War of Independence, will be restored.
Located in the historical district of Kaleiçi, Dumlupınar Secondary School draws attention with its story witnessing the history of the region.

Turkish President Erdogan has again Threatened Greece
Turkish President Recep Erdogan made a speech full of threats to Greece. He called on Athens to learn from history and not forget the defeat in the Greco-Turkish war in 1922, Anadolu Agency reported.
Erdogan made the speech at Turkey's largest technology festival, Teknofest, which is held on the Black Sea coast in Samsun province.
Military expo opened to commemorate Great Offensive
Within the scope of the 100th anniversary of the Great Offensive, Turkish armed forces have opened an exhibition in the Aegean province of Afyonkarahisar.
"We are proud to host such an event," said Kübra Güran Yiğitbaşı, the governor of Afyonkarahisar.
The governor made a call to all the citizens to visit the most comprehensive military expo.
Fallen sailors of sunken submarine remembered
Fallen sailors of TCG Dumlupınar submarine that sank 69 years ago due to a collision in the Dardanelles Strait have been commemorated with a ceremony held in the western province of Çanakkale attended by local officials and residents.

Ancient shops unearthed in Aizanoi
A bone workshop and an oil lamp shop have been unearthed in the ancient city of Aizanoi, located in the western province of Kütahya.
The excavations in Aizanoi, which is home to the best-preserved Zeus Temple in Anatolia and is also called the "Second Ephesus," have been carried out by the Kütahya Museum Directorate.

Soldier kills three others before committing suicide in Turkey's west
A soldier in the Aegean province of Manisa killed three other soldiers before killing himself on June 11, state-run Anadolu Agency has reported.
The soldier, who reportedly suffered a nervous breakdown and was identified only by his initials N.A., opened fire in a gendarmerie station in Manisa's Kula district.
Turkey celebrates 93rd anniversary of Victory Day
Turkey celebrated the 93rd anniversary of the Victory Day on Aug. 30, which marks the Turkish victory against Greek forces at the Battle of Dumlupınar, the final battle in the War of Independence in 1922.
