Erdoğan Demirören remembered on his death anniversary

Prominent Turkish industrialist and businessman Erdoğan Demirören, who was the founder of Demirören Holding, which is one of Türkiye's largest conglomerates, has been commemorated on the fifth anniversary of his death.

On June 8, 2018, Demirören lost his life in a hospital in Istanbul, where he received treatment for respiratory failure for a while at the age of 80.

Demirören Media High School to give scholarship

Demirören Media High School, a vocational school that will train young journalists who will be well-equipped with skills to work in the media sector, will give scholarships to its successful students every month.

Scholarships will be given to students who score above a certain mark in the high school entrance exam (LGS).

Defending a minimalist lifestyle, famous Turkish actor Nejat İşler has started living in a hotel room in Istanbul, saying that "life has fit in a backpack."

İşler, who was living in Bodrum, a world-renowned tourism hotspot in the southwestern province of Muğla, for over a decade, noted that he has currently moved to a hotel in Istanbul.
