Dacic meets with CEB vice-governer

BELGRADE- Serbian Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic met with Council of Europe Development Bank (CEB) Vice-Governor Mikolaj Dowgielewicz in Belgrade Monday to discuss cooperation, focusing in particular on the implementation of a program for housing of refugees in a region funded by the bank.

According to a release from the Serbian Foreign Ministry, Dowgielewicz said that cooperation with competent authorities in Serbia was good, adding that he hoped that the trend would continue.

He said that it was very important to keep the attention of the global public on the issue of refugee housing in the region, as the implementation of the program was directly related to contributions by donor countries.

The Serbian foreign minister said that Serbia attached great significance to the implementation of the program, which was important not only with respect to the refugees, but also with respect to regional reconciliation.
