Dacic receives farewell visit from Japanese ambassador

BELGRADE - Serbian First Deputy PM and FM Ivica Dacic received a farewell visit from Japanese Ambassador to Belgrade Takahiko Katsumata on Thursday.

Dacic thanked Katsumata for his personal contribution to stepping up the political dialogue and cooperation between Serbia and Japan as significant contacts between senior officials of the two countries took place during his ambassadorial term in Belgrade, with overall cooperation raised to an even higher level, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Serbia said in a statement.

The parties said the relations between the two countries, which marked 140 years of friendship last year, were substantial, of good quality and on a constant upward trajectory.
