Union Mocks Call to Display Serbian President's Portrait
Serbia's Defence Minister, Aleksandar Vulin, has encountered opposition after he said that displaying President Aleksandar Vucic's portrait in ministry and army's offices would be a mark of respect for the country's "supreme commander".
Novica Antic, from the Army Union, has advised the minister to try to improve the position of soldiers instead.
Vucic to receive Macedonian ambassador
Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic will on Thursday receive Macedonia's Ambassador to Serbia Vera Jovanovska-Tipko.
The president's press service announced on Wednesday that the meeting will be held the next day at 11:00 hours CET, in the Presidency building in Belgrade.

Serbian president grateful to Russia for support

Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic received on Monday in Belgrade the ambassador of the Russian Federation, Aleksandr Chepurin.
According to a statement from the presidency, cited by Tanjug, Vucic "thanked Chepurin for Russia's political support to Serbia."
