Opposition Demands 'Fair' Local Election in Serbian Capital

Government gives guarantees for Ratko Mladic
BELGRADE - The Serbian government has given guarantees for Ratko Mladic's provisional release from detention at the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia (ICTY) for medical treatment.
A letter containing the state guarantees has been sent to Mladic's defence, which will submit it to the ICTY, the Serbian Ministry of Justice told Tanjug Monday.

Serbian president's visit to Croatia postponed
Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic's visit to Zagreb has been postponed, his cabinet confirmed on Wednesday.
According to previous announcements, the visit should have taken place in November at the latest.
"The president will not go to Zagreb that soon," the daily Blic was told by his cabinet.
