Gojkovic to visit Azerbaijan on Thursday, Friday
BELGRADE - Serbian Parliament Speaker Maja Gojkovic will visit Azerbaijan on December 11 and 12 and confer with Azerbaijani top officials on promotion of bilateral relations.
During the official visit to Baku, Gojkovic will meet with President Ilham Aliyev and Prime Minister Artur Rasizade, the speaker's office released in a statement.

Turkey will be the primary user of Cyprus gas, PM Davutoğlu says
Turkish Prime Minister Ahmet DavutoÄlu highlighted Nov. 22 the importance of the use of Cyrpus's natural resources for peace, adding that Turkey would be the primary user of gas coming out of the divided island.
DavutoÄlu made the remarks in a speech at the closing session of the sixth Atlantic Council Energy and Economic Summit in Istanbul.
Azerbaijani soldier killed in new Karabakh clash
Armenian troops on Nov. 20 killed an Azerbaijani soldier, the defense ministry in Baku said, amid escalating tensions in the longstanding conflict over the disputed Nagorny Karabakh region.
Last week, Armenia threatened "grave consequences" after Azerbaijani forces shot down a helicopter belonging to the army of the breakaway ethnic Armenian region.

Azerbaijani forces on Nov. 12 shot down an Armenian military helicopter, the defence ministry in Baku said, in a dramatic flare-up in the arch-foes' longstanding conflict over Nagorny Karabakh.
The downing marks the most serious military incident along the Karabakh frontier since the 1994 ceasefire that ended a bloody conflict over the disputed region.

Udovicic: Serbian athletes looking forward to European Games
BAKU - Serbian Minister of Youth and Sports Vanja Udovicic, who is on a working visit to Azerbaijan, met with members of the organizing committee of the First European Games, set to take place in Baku next year.
Chief Operating Officer of Baku 2015 Simon Clegg informed Udovicic about the progress of the preparations for the first continental games in the Olympic tradition.
