Turkish Airlines starts flights to San Francisco

Turkish Airlines has inaugurated flights to San Francisco, the national flag carrier said in a statement.

It is the airline's second Californian destination, and its 11th in the Americas. The airline already has services to Buenos Aires, Sao Paulo, Toronto, Chicago, Houston, Los Angeles, New York, Washington, Boston and Montreal.

Serbia to play Argentina in Davis Cup quarterfinals

BUENOS AIRES - Serbia's opponent in the Davis Cup quarterfinals will be Argentina, who defeated Brazil in the World Group first round 3-2 at home on Friday.

Argentina edged Brazil courtesy of Federico Delbonis, who beat Thomaz Bellucci in four sets 6-3, 3-6, 6-2, 7-5 in a match concluded on Monday after fading light ended play on Sunday.

Djokovic pulls further ahead in ATP rankings

LONDON - World number one Novak Djokovic moved further ahead of Switzerland's Roger Federer, in 2nd place, in the latest ATP rankings, posted on Monday.

Despite the defeat in the final in Dubai, Djokovic increased his lead, since Federer merely defended his title, while Djokovic stayed in the tournament longer than lasy year, when he was ousted in the semifinals.

Aleksandar Josipovic bids farewell to dance career

BELGRADE - Dance artist Aleksandar Josipovic, the only Serb that performed at the Moulin Rouge, decided to stop dancing actively after 25 years of successful career.

The eight-time national champion, Josipovic achieved some of the highest attainments at global level, received a number of recognitions in the country and abroad where he successfully performed for a decade and a half.
