Istanbul?s symbolic landmarks were darkened for an hour on March 28 during the World Wide Fund for Nature?s (WWF) annual ?Earth Hour? event to raise awareness of environmental issues.

Bulgarians and people around the world are preparing to observe the global initiative Earth Hour by switching off their lights for one hour on Saturday.

The Earth Hour is a worldwide movement for protection of the environment and raising awareness for the dangers of climate change, organised by the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF).

Theater, this dynamic art form where performers communicate experiences and feelings to a live audience with the use of gestures, speech, music and dance was born in Greece, in the form of the magnificent ancient Drama.

The Travelers' Choice Award-winning destinations sifted through millions of reviews of grand cities and exciting trip ideas to come up with a list of top 25 destinations for 2015.

Hundreds of landmarks from Paris' Eiffel Tower to the Seattle Space Needle will dim their lights on Saturday, as people around the world go briefly off-grid to mark Earth Hour with candlelight and barbecues.
