Moroccan plane floods at Istanbul Atatürk Airport

A Royal Air Maroc plane was flooded on Sept. 28 when its plumbing system broke down at Istanbul Atatürk Airport shortly before take-off, Doğan News Agency has reported.
The cargo hold of the Boeing 767 model carrier bound for the Moroccan capital Casablanca was flooded after a problem occurred with its plumbing system shortly after boarding at 5:05 p.m.

Russia's Rostov-on-Don airport reopens after deadly crash

The airport in the southern Russian city of Rostov-on-Don reopened March 21, just over two days after a passenger jet from budget airline FlyDubai crashed there on landing, killing all 62 people on board.   

The Boeing 737, which was flying from Dubai to Rostov-on-Don, exploded into a fireball after missing the runway on a second landing attempt in heavy wind and rain.

A new video brought to light shows the moment when the Boeing 737 passenger plane carrying 55 passengers and 7 crew members crashed in Rostov, Russia.

The plane crashed on Saturday morning during its landing at Rostov on Don airport in Rostov, in south Russia killing all 62 on board.

FlyDubai Plane Crash in Russia Kills All on Board

All 62 people on board a FlyDubai plane which crashed on landing in the city of Rostov-on-Don, Russia, are confirmed dead, Russian officials say.

Preliminary data suggests there were 55 passengers and 7 crew on the Boeing 737, which "hit the ground and broke into pieces," according to the investigative committee quoted by RIA Novosti. Six of the crew were non-Russians.

No Bomb Found on Turkish Airlines Flight Diverted to Shannon

No explosives have been found on board the Turkish Airlines plane that was diverted to Shannon Airport in Ireland after a security threat on Sunday.

Flight TK-34  from Houston, Texas, to Istanbul was diverted after a piece of paper with "bomb" written on it was discovered in the toilet, the BBC reported citing a spokesman for Turkey's flag carrier.
