European Initiative for Media Pluralism Opens Bulgarian Unit
A non-governmental organization called European Initiative for Media Pluralism (EIMP) is registering a Bulgarian unit.
The NGO aims to encourage Bulgarian journalists to state their demand for dignified working conditions directly to the European Commission, according to reports of the Bulgarian National Radio (BNR).
Large Quantity of Explosives Seized in Sofia, Bulgaria
Employees of Bulgaria's State Agency for National Security (DANS) have confiscated a large quantity of explosives and blasting caps in the capital city of Sofia.
The operation was conducted on May 12 in Sofia district of Slatina, Bulgarian National Radio reports.
Two people have been detained, and one of them will remain in custody for 72 hours for possession of explosives.
