BELGRADE - The Serbian parliament's committee on spatial planning, transport, infrastructure and telecommunications adopted on Friday the government report on May floods, which reads that the direct damage to infrastructure network is estimated at EUR 275.9 million while the extent of indirect damage is still being assessed.

The Bulgarian stretch of the South Stream gas pipeline could go beyond USD 5.86 B previously estimated, a Russian daily argues.
Vedomosti bases its conclusions on the announcement made this week that the section to be built in neighboring Serbia will be worth USD 2.1 B, or 23.5% more than the expected price.

Contract for South Stream construction through Serbia signed
BELGRADE - Companies South Stream Serbia and Centar Gas from Russia signed the Contract on the construction of the Serbian section of the main South Stream gas pipeline to the total value of EUR 2.1 billion.
The contract was signed by co-directors of South Stream Serbia Dusan Bajatovic and Aleksandar Siromjatin and Director General of Centre Gas Stanislav Anikeyev on Tuesday.

Bulgaria Vows to Build Russian Gas Pipeline

'Gazprom Subsidiary' in Construction of Bulgaria's South Stream
Centrgaz, a subsidiary of Gazprom, could step in the construction of the South Stream pipeline's Bulgarian stretch, according to a Russian daily.
Vedomosti's website reports that Centrgaz, which has not fallen under EU or US sanctions over the Ukraine crisis, has already won the tender for South Stream in Bulgaria's western neighbor Serbia.
