Minister Bratislav Gai said that the authorities know who killed Oliver Ivanovic and that the killer is in Germany, and that he is currently under the protection of the German authorities.

Stevan Dojcinovic, the editor at Serbia's Crime and Corruption Reporting Network, KRIK, was held at the airport in Abu Dhabi on Wednesday morning after being prevented from entering the United Arab Emirates, where he had been scheduled to speak at a major UN anti-corruption event.

Among them are two Belgian football referees, and several club managers.

They are suspected of fraud related to transfer of players to Belgian football clubs Brugge, Anderlecht, Lokeren, Ghent, and others.

Organized crime prosecutors are currently taking statements from the suspects, the Prosecutor's Office for Organized Crime announced on Wednesday.
