Vaccination of children could start soon
Ljubljana – The head of the national advisory group for Covid-19 vaccination, Bojana Beović, has said that following the European Medicines Agency’s (EMA) approval of the Pfizer/BioNTech vaccine for children aged 12 or more, the group will recommend vaccinating children, especially children suffering from chronic diseases.

Greece Extends Entry Restrictions Until June 7
Greece has extended restrictions on entry into the country until 7 June, meaning that all travellers arriving there are required to have a negative PCR certificate from a testing laboratory, for a Covid-19. The test should be taken no later than 72 hours before arrival.

Over 29 million doses of jab administered
The total number of COVID-19 vaccines administered in Turkey has exceeded 29 million doses.
The country rolled out its inoculation program in mid-January, starting with health care workers and the elderly.
Since then, it has been gradually expanding the scope of the inoculation drive to cover more age groups and people at risk.

Turkey moving to new normalization phase
Turkey this week is moving to a new normalization phase in the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic.
Health Minister Fahrettion Koca previously said that the Health Ministry's Science Board was working on plans on how to proceed toward normalization after June 1.

Over 28.76 mln vaccine shots administered in Turkey
Turkey has administered over 28.76 million doses of COVID-19 vaccines since the launch of a mass vaccination campaign in mid-January, according to official figures.
As of May 29 evening, more than 16.47 million people have received their first doses, while over 12.28 million have been fully vaccinated, the Health Ministry's count showed.
